The state Controlling Board has approved funding for improvements at the shared campus of Marion Technical College and The Ohio State University.
“The funding approved today will allow much-needed renovations to take place at the Tiffin Developmental Center and the Marion Technical College,” State Senator Karen Gillmor said. “These projects will provide improved facilities for students and residents, which will in turn enhance their learning and social experiences.”
Specifically, the Controlling Board approved the release of $166,413 for renovations to the west doors, exhaust fan and chiller unit at the Technical Education Center. The project is a joint effort between Marion Technical College and The Ohio State University at Marion, which share the center.
